Our purpose is not to consume what is readily presented with an ambitious and hurried appetite. We are not here to know everything, narrate everything, or cover all the famous routes. We do not harbor empty ambitions of traveling the entire world or seeing every place. Nor are we preoccupied with presenting the ‘best of’ Paris, Amsterdam, or any other city.
Our aim is to share with you the tiny, delicate stories that occupy the small space we claim in the universe. To walk narrow paths, to discover hidden alleyways—paths that only a few travelers can tread at a time, far from the clamoring appetites of the masses. These paths are narrow; you pass through them one by one. Yet each may lead to a wide natural panorama, to the stars—or perhaps end in a dead-end street. But we are not among those who lament such endings, for we are the kind who cherish sitting at the edge of that cul-de-sac, taking a pause, and dreaming a little. We value not only what is useful or outcome-driven but also what is focused on the journey itself and the joy it brings.
Let there be no misunderstanding: our purpose is not to constantly search for the new, the hidden, or the overlooked. It is equally about looking at the roads we traverse daily and the things we see often with fresh eyes, noticing details we have missed before. Instead of seeking happiness elsewhere, we believe in sometimes merely changing our perspective, adjusting our gaze.
